My name is Aurélie, and I’m 15 years old. I’m a rider at heart—passionate right down to my boots and always ready to take on new challenges. A little shy, but above all determined, I love pushing my limits and living every moment in the saddle to the fullest. This site is much more than just a store: it’s a reflection of my passion, my energy, and my dreams galloping at full speed.

Do you know ‘La grande journée des petits entrepreneurs,’ which takes place in Quebec every year? I participated for several years with my family. We made chocolate marshmallows, dog treats, coasters, and even energy balls! It was the perfect opportunity to unleash my creativity and develop my entrepreneurial spirit.

Since then, I’ve developed a huge passion for equestrian sports. My family and I then had a brilliant idea: to launch a business to help fund my sport while having fun!

Thus, 2024 marks the beginning of a beautiful adventure! One sock at a time, from design to creation, I hope CurlySox will appeal to all sports enthusiasts, as well as to those who enjoy adding a touch of whimsy to their outfits.

Where does the name CurlySox come from?

A very, very long time ago, while desperately trying to save my curls from the morning hair chaos, a brilliant idea—or a moment of madness—came to me. "What if I put my hair in a sock overnight?" So, for several months (or maybe even years!), I let this improbable "hairstyle" protect my curls throughout the night. In the morning, I would remove the sock, do a few touch-ups, and... magic! My curls were as perfect as a summer morning.

So, you could say that today, when I see a sock, the image of curls comes easily to mind. Rest assured, my technique has definitely changed since then. I now wear my socks on my feet.

CurlySox naturally became the name of my business while we were looking for a name that was funny, youthful, and reflected who I am.
